Helios Education Foundation’s mission is to create opportunities for every individual in Arizona and Florida to succeed in postsecondary education. Through its investments across the education continuum in Early Grade Success, College and Career Readiness and Postsecondary Completion, the Foundation is helping create a college-going and completing culture that is equipping students with the high-level skills needed to succeed in a globally competitive, 21st-century economy.
By advancing the academic preparedness of all students as they transition across the education continuum, the Foundation seeks to increase the number of young adults graduating high school prepared to succeed in postsecondary education.
Additionally, because improving education requires strong public and political will, the Foundation is an actively engaged partner, collaborating, convening and leading to change lives through education.
Since inception in 2006, the Foundation has invested approximately $140 million* in education initiatives in Arizona and Florida.
